Retreat Waiver & Liability

Terms of Service

We ask that you carefully read through the terms and conditions of our retreat. It is important to fully understand what is and isn’t included in your package. If you have any questions, we are happy to assist and clarify any aspects before you sign the agreement.

Payment Terms & Cancellations

​

Retreat Pricing
All prices are per person and set well in advance. These prices cover retreat costs only and do not include travel expenses to and from the retreat.

Payment & Deposit
You can pay via credit card or PayPal on our website. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot. The remaining balance is due 4 weeks prior to the retreat’s start date. You will receive a reminder one week before the payment deadline. If payment is not received by this date, we may cancel your reservation, though we will make every effort to remind you in advance.

Cancellation Policy
To cancel, please contact Corrina Cohen at hello@arisewild.co.uk. Deposits are non-refundable. After the payment deadline, no refunds are available, regardless of the reason for cancellation (including emergencies, illness, weather, etc.). No refunds are given for late arrivals or early departures.

Transfer Policy
Unfortunately, retreat bookings cannot be transferred to a different retreat.

Retreat Cancellations
We reserve the right to make changes to the retreat, including excursions, meals, or transportation. If we cancel the retreat, you may be offered a transfer to another retreat or a full refund. We are not responsible for any additional costs incurred (such as travel expenses, visas, or other preparations). We may also cancel the retreat if there are insufficient bookings, in which case you will receive a full refund.

Travel Documents & Insurance

Documents
For international retreats, you must have a valid passport with at least 6 months’ validity. It is your responsibility to arrange travel insurance and ensure any required vaccinations are completed.

​

Insurance
We recommend that you purchase travel insurance as soon as you book your retreat. Insurance should cover cancellations, flight delays, medical expenses, and personal belongings. If you're attending a retreat with winter sports, make sure your insurance covers such activities.

Please check with your doctor to ensure you are fit for any physical activities, including yoga, during the retreat. If you experience any discomfort, inform your retreat host immediately.

Acknowledgement & Assumption of Risk

Assumption of Risk
By participating in an Arise Wild event, retreat or class of any kind, I acknowledge the inherent risks of outdoor activities and physical exercise. I accept full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur, and I agree to release the host, instructors, and any associated individuals from liability. I understand this applies even in cases of negligence on their part.

Physical Training & Liability

Assumption of Risk in Physical Training
I understand that physical activities, including yoga, carry inherent risks, including the possibility of injury or death. I take full responsibility for any injuries or damage that may arise during the retreat, whether caused by my own actions or the actions of others. I affirm that I am physically capable of participating in these activities and will stop immediately if I experience any discomfort or injury. I agree to notify the retreat host of any injury or discomfort.

I also understand that this retreat is not a substitute for medical treatment and that the host is not qualified to provide medical care.

​

Indemnification
I agree to hold the host harmless from any legal costs or damages resulting from my own actions or negligence during the retreat.

Media Consent

Permission for Media Capture & Use
I grant Corrina Cohen of Arise Wild the right to capture media (photos, videos, testimonials) of my participation in the retreat. This media may be used for promotional purposes, including online and print materials. I release the host from any claims related to the use of this media.

Waiver of Liability

Release & Waiver of Liability
I agree that neither I nor my heirs, assigns, or legal representatives will make any claim against Arise Wild, its agents, employees, or affiliates for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from my participation in the retreat. I accept full responsibility for my well-being and will follow all safety guidelines provided by the host.

I acknowledge that the host is not a medical provider and I am responsible for consulting my doctor if needed. I will not hold the host responsible for any injuries or discomfort I experience during or after the retreat.

By participating in the retreat, I fully understand and accept these terms.
